About Miss Hannah
Miss Alison Hannah is a native of Newton, MA who began studying music at the age of five. Throughout her schooling Miss Hannah studied piano and percussion. She completed her undergraduate degree at Ithaca College School of Music, becoming a well-rounded percussionist and pursuing her passion for marimba while studying under Gordon Stout. Upon graduating from Ithaca, Miss Hannah landed a job working at Berklee College of Music. There, she helped prospective and current students gain scholarships at this esteemed institution.
Miss Hannah is a graduate of The Boston Conservatory where she holds a masters degree in Music Education. This is her 13th year teaching elementary music and her 10th year at Davis School. Miss Hannah is thrilled to be a part of the Davis School community as well as the amazing music program in Bedford K-12! In her spare time Miss Hannah plays percussion with the MetWinds and teaches private piano and percussion lessons to children and adults at The Rivers Conservatory and throughout the greater Boston area.
